Toxic is heading for an excellent first day which is sure to be over 40 crore nett at around 43-44 crore nett but there is a healthy contribution coming from South as well especially Mysore where its actually beating many major Hindi releases despite having a dominating Kannada version. The business in South looks more than what a regular dubbed release does on the first day which can take the film to 45 crore nett when final collections come in the morning.
The film was showing less advances in Maharashtra comparatively but its normal service on release and Maharashtra has done very well and the behaviour is pretty much liked a dubbed film film with the weaker areas being East Punjab and NCR though these are still very good. The film is extraordinary in Odisha where its second to Pushpa 2 only and will beat KGF 2. Bihar and West Bengal are also outstanding which sets up East India for huge collections. Even Assam is solid for a dubbed film.
There is a minor holiday for Eid but for many states its a normal day and they have still collected well though places like UP and Bihar will be getting a boost from this holiday. The reports coming out are not positive but the film has momentum on its side at present with a long extended weekend and above all an opening which is far above expectations and on top the Hindi mass circuits doing superb business.
The all India opening on all versions may fall a little short of 100 crore nett but even here barring RRR all the other films with similar numbers are sequels. It is sure to among the top five opening days of alltime taking into account all versions.
