Toxic (Hindi) took a huge advance as it put up collections of almost 20 crore nett for the first day which is the eighth highest advance ever in terms of collections. The national chains finished at 2.4 lakhs tickets which is around 20th position but generally this is on a downward slope as no film gets even close to the Bahubali 2 record set in 2017 not even Dhurandhar 2.

Toxic is up there with films which managed get over 50 crore nett or very close though some of these films had the benefit of holidays or national holidays on day one which would have pushed current sales. Basically all the films below are at 50 crore nett or more for day one barring Thugs Of Hindostan. Dhurandhar 2 leads the way with 34 crore nett plus advance and the only film to cross 30 crore nett advance sales for the first day. 

Toxic is a dubbed film so the comparison will be where its stands with KGF 2 and Pushpa 2 but both those films are sequels so the craze of the film is not expected to be at the level of those films though it would not surprise if in some circuits it does challenge the figures of KGF 2. The fact that the comparison will be with sequels like Pushpa 2 and KGF 2 is a victory in itself. It stands head and shoulders above any dubbed south films which is not a sequel. The top advances of all time for the first day are as follows.
