Toxic (Hindi) has seen a fantastic start to its advances and is looking at a huge start. The expectations were of a 30 crore nett first day but the way these advances have started it looks to be going higher and the next few days will tell how much higher as you wait until the dust settles and the momentum is over a few days and not just a few hours.

The film sold 20k tickets at PVR chain in a matter of 5 hours and it could be looking at something like 50k tickets at the end of the day which is huge. The biggest plus for the film is that the film does not look like a South Indian film from any angle and of course the violence. Today they typical south looking films have no market like Peddi, Jan Neta or The Raja Saab. No market is probably wrong and limited market probably right way to put it.

Another positive is that this hero Yash Gowda looks potentially more relatable to the Delhi / UP and East Punjab markets compared to the other South heroes in terms of looks and personality but then again put him in Peddi or Jan Neta and that could change as well. Its going to be interesting few days now as to where this advance is going as its a fantastic start across all circuits and it could be looking at huge figures by Tuesday night. The advances in Mysore / Karnataka are also crazy but records were expected to fall there.
