Welcome To The Jungle saw a drop in collections on the third Friday as a similar type of film released with Dhamaal 3 and on top it has done well. This was always the obstacle ahead of Welcome To the Jungle mainly because of Dhamaal 3 being a same genre film. The drop for Welcome To The Jungle is 50% on the third Friday where as the competition of Alpha last week saw it drop 15% which was more normal though if it was not there it would have not dropped.

These two weeks of back to back releases means Welcome To The Jungle losing around 10-12 crore nett business had they not been there but there is nothing that can be done as it was a race against time to get the film released and it had to come before July due to the digital deal.  The film will have to settle for around 135 crore nett lifetime and its the clustered period which means the film settling for SEMI HIT status instead of HIT.  

The film collected 85 lakhs nett on its third Friday but it should comeback on Saturday and Sunday but its a low third Friday. The collections of Welcome To The Jungle till date are as follows.

Week One - 92,50,00,000 apprx

Second Week - 32,00,00,000 apprx

Friday - 85,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,25,35,00,000 apprx

Alpha also saw a big drop in collections as it collected 1.25 crore nett on its second Friday but this was expected as the film has not been liked. This takes the total of the film to 47.50 crore nett in eight days.
