Metro In Dino collected 3.25 crore nett which is a collection on the lower side and the evenings also did not push much which should happen for a film like this which is mainly for the gentry audience. This will not stop the film growing on Saturday but it leaves the film a lot to do. If the film could have pushed closer to the 4 crore nett mark it would have been a decent start.

The film does not have much of a cast although its an ensemble of many known faces with none being much of a factor at the ticket window. There are no commercial elements in the song and the music has not worked in a way it can make a difference to that opening number day. A little positive will be the sequel factor but it will be a very small minority who even remembers that film but recall value is recall value however small.

Obviously a film like Life In A Metro (2007) is not they type of film which you give a sequel to as it hardly had reach in 2018 so will not live on 18 years later but this is not the case with this film but many other films also as the industry is just after sequels today. The film has done btter in circuits liek Mumbai, Mysore and West Bengal while the other potential target NCR could have been better. The film will need to grow a lot on Saturday just to stay in the race which it should be able to do but it will still be a long road ahead.
