Maa collected around 26 crore nett its first week which is a fair collection but it is dependent on the second week where it has to get into double digits which will be tough. The film did see a drop in collections post the cheap Tuesday and ended the week with collections which were low. The film did better in the East though even there the holds were not too strong. 

The fate of the film depends on the second week but it will be tough due to the competition of many releases and also the reports of teh film not being that good. The collections of Maa are as follows.

F1 has has done very well in week one as the film opened well and has held up very well from Monday with the figures in the Mon - Thu period being pretty much the same. These are HIT numbers for the film but showcasing will be an issue in week two as Sitaare Zameen Par holds shows it does not deserve and even Metro gets a lot of shows as certain programmers have favoured the Hindi films. There is competition from Jurassic World Rebirth which has also suffered in terms of showcasing.

If the film can come through on the second Friday then the film emerge with the deserving HIT status. The collections of F1 till date are as follows.
