Housefull 5 has done well on day two as it collected 28.25 crore nett which is pretty good growth in the 25-30% range. It was a holiday for Eid on Saturday so maybe more growth could have come but with Eid falling on Saturday it is likely to be over two days and in many Muslim centres its the day after Eid that does better. So it could have been a minimal Eid affect and the Sunday numbers will tell. If Sunday manages growth then it will mean Eid gave minimal benefit.

At present there does look like Sunday growth but that Sunday always has stronger advances and it remains to be seen how it goes. The film has collected over 50 crore till now which is a good number though the film still has work to do. The growth came all over but it was better outside the bigger multiplexes.

The film is doing well in most circuits and overseas also scored big as it collected $1.4 million with excellent collections in Gulf and United Kingdon. The opening came out highest for Akshay Kumar in overseas which was expected on the advances. The film is overall is in a good position and its going to be about the weekdays.
