Chhavaa has gone into overdrive on Sunday as collections go strong across the country even those places that started less. The film is likley to be in the 44-45 crore nett range which will mean a weekend of somewhere around 109 crore nett. The story will not end here as the film has actually been gaining momentum from Saturday at many places.

No doubt business started with huge numbers in a few circuits but it was catch at many others. They have not caught up as that can never happen but the likes of Delhi NCR, East Punjab and the various eastern markets are at very good levels on Sunday.

The Monday hold is a given from the film and its about high the film goes and with the holiday on Wednesday the numbers will pile up for the week and the the strt of the second week will determine where the film will go. A strong hold here and the film could go anywhere due to open field and through the Ramazan period which will hardly affect the film as will have a lesser muslim audience. 

This is the first real positive of the year for the film industry and its a big one with a non sequel hitting huge numbers and a new star created but its going to take a little time to sink in due to certain things going on around the film but eventually it will as the film has stood tall and on its own feet and now the sky is the limit.
