Vvan has taken a decent opening and should put up a reasonable first day figure as Bihar records an actual good to very good opening. The film has a song Chhathi Maya which has penetrated the film there and Eastern Up should normally follow as this Chhath Puja ritual is theer also in a big way. The film is reasonable in the rest of the country as well but it will be these Chhath Puja areas which propel the film.

The last Siddharth Malhotra film Param Sundari opened at around at a littel under 7 crore nett and the target here will be to get on the other side of 7 crore nett. Mumbai circuit should also get some benefit as it was the last day of Ganpat yesterday and collections should now be better in the circuit from afternoon. All in all a decent result and now its on the content of the film.

Avengers Endgame (repeat run) has taken a superb start and nothing has been seen like this in repeat runs. It is in premium formats and in the big cities especially South but its crazy response for a film which is widely available and it will be fireworks in December when Doomsday comes.

There is also this south dubbed film which opened yeterday Paradise which has had  decent first day crossing 2 crore nett. The film has scored well in the usual strong areas for dubbed films especially Odisha which will record an opening day of 30 lakh which is almost as much as Delhi / UP.  The film also did very well in the South on the first day..
