Daayra fell badly on Monday as it collected less than 50 lakhs to take its four day total to just 5 crore nett. The film had the BOGO offer in play on Monday but it was of no help due to total rejection. This is another huge downer after Haiwaan last week as it will also not reach the 10 crore nett mark for lifetime business

Haiwaan and Daayra featured big stars like Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor but they are more examples of how star value is deteriorating and its becoming more an more about the movie. For a star to deliver big initially its now become about budget which shows scale with a new title or have sequel factor in play and if the content is so dry like these two films it only gets worse. Vibe collected 1 crore nett on Monday and it came without the offer it had over the weekend and its not really good enough. The film has so far collected 8.60 crore nett and it should be a week of 11-12 crore nett. It has beaten the competition but thats about all as it also has not much appreciation.
