The two new releases Daayra and Vibe have taken dull openings and in the morning shows Vibe is actually a little better than the bigger film Daayra. But thats mainly down to Daayra have nothing for the first day initial audience while Vibe has more for the youth. It reamins to be seen if Vibe remains ahead through the day.

It can be possible as Vibe actually has a better release as PVR are the distrubutors which has meant more screenings for Vibe than Daayra and that is not expected as Daayra is a film which will be best at PVR if it is do well but PVR have favoured their own film which is par for the course. 

Daayra looks a very television type of film with the only positive being the presence of Kareena Kapoor but today star value has limitations at the box office as was seen last week with Haiwaan. The star also needs support today from other initial taking elements. The film also has a release in Malayalam as the male lead is from that industry but even there its not much of a release and limited collections.

Vibe looks a spoof type of comedy about spies, a bit like a spoof on the spy universe films and these films also have limitations as its mainly urban youth only. The positive is that costs are not as high as Daayra and the opening is better but that does not mean much in the overall scenario.
