Spiderman Brand New Day has set a new opening day record for Hollywoood films in India as it beats the figures of Avengers - Endgame released in 2019. The collections have crossed the 55 core nett mark and may well end up at around 60 crore nett which is a huge number. Not only is this the biggest opening for Hollywood ever but also the second biggest opening in India after Dhurandhar 2 and this includes the films from South India as well.

The collections coming from the Hindi circuits are less than Endgame again showing how the audience is lesser than before the pandemic especially for films more targetted towards the bigger centres. Rajasthan, CI, West Bengal and East Punjab whichever circuit has come in is less than Endgame and in some the margins are there even though this is seven years later.

The South is different as all markets are higher than Endgame and by good margins. This should change over the weekend as the ratio of the Hindi markets gets better, Its a four day weekend so no doubt its going to be huge although there will be a drop today and its about whether teh film challenge the lifetime of an Endgame or Avatar: The Way Of Water with the latter having the lifetime record for hollywood.
