War 2 (Hindi) showed a good jump on Saturday as it collected 45 crore nett apprx which is growth of over 50%. There were mass pockets which were showing much more growth but on the opposite side were the bigger cinemas which were less than 50%. Basically the film got a reasonable mass audience in on day two but the big Independence Day holiday played a big part.

The two day figures are 73 crore nett which is a fair return but really the film should have done much higher numbers. The film is maybe a little better in West Bengal and Mysore but generally the core of North, West and Central India has not done well with very low numbers especially parts of Central and Western parts.

The film will see a drop on day three despite it being a Saturday as independence Day is a huge holiday. The second day will probably be the best day for the film unless there is some crazy jump on Sunday. Now its just about what is the level of business over the weekend. The two day numbers of War 2 (hindi) are as follows.

Friday - 28,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 45,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 73,00,00,000 apprx

Coolie has not done well in Hindi as it was a decent start but the film failed to grow much on the holiday. The all India collections on all versions on day one were around 60 crore nett and day two will be around the 50 crore nett mark for a 110 crore nett two day total. The numbers are good but still but expectations were higher from the distributors of the various circuits down South.
