Sitaare Zameen Par continued to dominate the box office thanks to its strong numbers in the big centres as it collected around 12 crore nett its second Saturday. The growth was around 90% whichw as expected and considering the growth last week it would have been no surprise if the film jumped even more.

This now takes the collections of the film to around 106 crore nett and it remains to be seen how Sunday. Last week Sunday saw huge growth of over 30% but that will probably be tough to repeat this week. The film continues to have the best numbers in the NCR region leading to Delhi / UP being the best circuits even though collections in UP are just average and this average is also thanks to the bigger centres like Lucknow and Dehradun. 

Maa showed a decent jump of 25% as it collected around 6 crore nett taking its two day number to 10.75 crore nett. The film was going to find it hard to put up huge growth due to the genre and some mass pockets putting up good numbers on day one and these places have not jumped on the second day.  The growth mainly come from the bigger multiplexes which were up in the 30-35% range. The film is doing fair business and is dependent on the weekday holds.

F1 is doing good business as it collects around 7 crore nett on its second day which takes the film to 12.25 crore nett. The Sunday growth will be limited like it is for most Hollywood releases and here it could be ven be flat as a huge ratio of business is coming from the bigger multiplexes but the film is coming out with a weekend of somewhere around 20 crore nett which is a very good result for a sports drama based around Formula 1
