Raid 2 has emerged a HIT film as it sees a good hold on Monday. The weekend business pretty much ensured a HIT film but you always need that Monday confirmation that the film can run well post the weekend. Raid 2 collected 7 crore nett on Monday which is a good hold dropping 45% drop from the Friday.

The Friday was the second day so was a bit lower than it would been so the trend maybe a bit less than the 45% drop suggests but overall its a strong enough hold for the film to have a good sustained run. The total of the film is 78.50 crore nett so far and will be looking to close out the week in the 95 crore nett range. The makers have ensured that the film will not be on discounted rates on Tuesday as there is no need as the film has worked and with discounted rates you are consuming some of your audience without really getting benefit in terms of collections.

The film is doing well over in all circuits with Mumbai probably doing the best business as business is over 30 crore nett in four days aided by a strong number on day one due to the holiday and then a good strong trend in Gujarat. The last month 3-4 weeks has also been good for the box office with Jaat, Kesari Chapter 2 and now Raid 2 with the three films likely to be in the 325 crore nett range between them. Its not a huge total but considering the films have come almost back to back and how difficult collections are to come by its a good result. The five day box office collections of Raid 2 are as follows.
