Kesari Chapter 2 saw a drop in collections on the third Friday which was expected as it had competition of Raid 2. The Thursday had held up well enough but that as due to the partial holiday which compensated for the competition. The collections of the film stand at a decent 74 crore nett and it can still add around 10-15 crore nett from here which is a fair result.

The collections could have dropped below 1 crore nett on its third Friday so its done well to stay above that mark though there was the BOGO offer in play on Friday which would have helped somewhat. Kesari Chapter 2 has found appreciation in places like Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai city and Bangalore and these centers will keep it afloat for the next few weeks.

The film is now the third best performer for Akshay Kumar post pandemic after Sooryavanshi and OMG 2 as it just edges past the collections of Ram Setu (not counting Sky Force for certain reasons, Kesari 2 will also not reach the numbers of Sky Force but there is a difference in numbers and collections).
