Stree 2 set a new record for the second weekend as it became the first film to go over 90 crore nett and the second Sunday was also the highest going past the Sunday of Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues. The film stands at 387 crore nett in 11 days and will hit the 400 crore nett mark today (Monday). The mass pockets have gone crazy again on Sunday with Rajasthan at 2 crore nett plus, Gujarat / Saurashtra going to 5 crore nett and even a East Punjab going well over 4 crore nett.

The big growth on Sunday was also because the night shows did not show the normal fall due to the Holiday today for Janmashtami. The second weekend numbers also show far business has come for the right film as the 100 crore nett barrier for the second weekend is not too far while pre pandemic a 100 crore nett second week was a task.

Stree 2 looks on course for the 500 crore nett mark at the moment but Tuesday is the key as so far the film started with a holiday and then it was the weekend and post that there was the Raksha Bandhan period and then the second weekend and now Janmashtami. The film will come down to lower levels on Tuesday and its about what are these levels.
