Munjya is looking at an outstanding hold as collections head towards the 4 crore nett mark which is hardly a drop from Monday. It should finish somewhere in the 3.75-4 crore nett range. The film may have a fall in circuits like Mumbai and CP Berar where collections were very strong on day one but others will be pretty much in the same range and some of the lower ones may even edge up.

This will take the film to around 23.75 crore nett and towards a 35 crore nett mark in the first week. It is likely to cross a film like Mr And Mrs Mahi before the week is out. It is about where the film goes from here and it would be no surprise if its crosses last years sleeper HIT Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.

The road is tougher here with more films in the way but the trending so far is also better and more importantly it is a far better performance in Mumbai circuit than Zara Hatke Zara Bachke which makes you think it should go higher than Zara Hatke Zara Bachke but it is early days yet.

The film is playing catch up in the North and collections in places like UP could really hold well next week as appreciation is there and there is potential for better collections. The film is the third HIT of 2023 after Article 370 and Shaitaan and may turn out to be the biggest so far.
