Zara Hatke Zara Bachke had a good first weekend of 21.75 crore nett as it garnered very good collections in some of the mass pockets despite limited face value. The film showed a strong trend on Sunday and there was always a chance of this as pockets which grow well on Sunday were outperforming from the beginning

The film did well in Gujarat / Saurashtra on Sunday as well and this was one of the Hindi belt being held back over the first two days. Maharashtra also did well especially Mumbai city and Pune. The collections have been boosted by the buy one get one free offer but the film does look to have some merit also as there is a trend although its collections are at a level then it would have been without the offer.

The film should hold on Monday as business on Sunday was good but the issue for the industry is going to be that this film may well set a precedent for offers which is not good in the long run as where does it stop. This is a small medium film and it could be medium films also do that then that can lead to star films that are not generating traction to go for offers as well. Its a dangerous circle 

Box office numbers should be coming through merit and not offers and this film film probably does have some merit but much of tne industry may not see it that way and its starts a trend of offers on release. it will be embarrassing if the industry goes this way to bring people in and it probably will not work anyway for many films. The collections of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke for the first three days are as follows.
