The advance of Pathaan has opened at select properties over the last few days but today it opened at a major cinema in Hyderbad. Prasads Multiplex is one the best properties in Hyderabad if not the best in terms of occupancy and Pathaan saw over 1800 tickets sell in the cinema in two hours.

These results or similar results will be replicated all over when advance opens up on Friday giving a huge boost for the film industry and making it the second film post pandemic to get some solid advance results. the first being Brahmastra and due to the genre, hit music and star power of Shahrukh Khan it should beat the advance of Brahmastra easily though it has less time. This though should not matter much when the craze is there.

The hope is actually it sails through the Brahmastra advance but because of what is gone over the last year there is trepidation of expecting results like before the pandemic but if Pathaan does the job then that scenario changes for the good also.

The advance is only part of the job done when a film is looking at big numbers as a lot of mass pockets do not have advance and then it becomes about that noon show showing results across the country and this film has the best chance so far post pandmemic.

The overseas markets have seen excellent advances since they opened 10-12 days back but areally huge number there are all about Gulf which has just not comeback post the pandemic but there is no bigger star than SRK to bring that market back.
