The advances of Mirzapur - The Movie started very well on Monday and are showing excellent momentum and where it looked like it would be similar to Awarapan 2 after the first day of advances the second day changed that as the pace is faster than Awaarapan 2. It could now be targetting 1.5 lakh tickets sold at national chains before release rather than the 1.18 lakh of Awarapan 2. 

This pretty much ensures the opening day will be more than Awarapan 2 as there is a holiday for Janmashtami and with advances ahead the current is for sure to run at a faster pace due to the holiday. This will mean a 30 crore nett opening will be on for the film coming without a starcast or music and just on the branding of a popular show. It will probably be the characters in the show are popular as there will be many popular shows but not all will be able to do this on the bigger theatrical level..

The box office is at a juncture of extremes as when the public wants to see something then numbers go far ahead of expectations like Awarapan 2, Toxic and now Mirzapur - The Movie and there is Hanuman Ansh running riot as well now but then on the other side when something is not quite right there are hardly any collections and the film just fizzles out.
