The records continue for Dhurandhar on Monday as its set to do 55 crore nett at least and this collection could even go to 60 crore nett in the final figure. The record for a Monday collection is 56 crore nett for Tiger 3 which was the second day for that film and a national holiday.

Take Tiger 3 this out and the next best is Pushpa 2 at 41 crore nett and then Bahubali The Conclusion at 40 crore nett with next best original Hindi film being Gadar 2 at 39 crore nett so all these films are going to be beaten by huge margins. All these films had a Monday after a regular weeeknd. The film is looking at only a 20% drop from Friday which is pretty much unthinkable considering the level of collections on Friday but when a film works like this then anything goes.

The previous two films (Uri - The Surgical Strike, Dhurandhar) of the director has seen historic trending in terms of weekly collections but neither had huge openings but this time its looking a historic trend with a historic opening.  Dhurandhar 2 will be standing at 440 crore nett plus after Monday and it looks like it has a shot to close the first week at 600 crore nett.

This would make it the highest grossing original HIndi film outside the first part of Dhurandhar and it will be no surprise if its cover the business of Dhurandhar part one in two weeks.
