The Raja Saab (Hindi) has taken a dull opening and even more shocking is the opening in Nizam / Andhra as nothing what is expected of a Prabhas film. The Nizam / Andhra had ticket pricing issues which meant advances could not really open while advances in hindi opened only yesterday and the response was weak.

The trailer had that feel of a Telugu film as the comedy just fails to land for the Hindi belts when done in that way. There was the horror factor that had the potential to work better for the Hindi audience but it seems this has not registered with the audience too well either. The only Prabhas film which has not opened well post Bahubali is Radhe Shyam and this will be the second.

The opening day could be landing in the same range or just a little higher as Radhe Shyam though this product looks much better than that film. But once that excessive South feel comes in it makes it tough. The usual areas like Maharashtra and Odisha will be better but they will be low. The fact that the trailer did not have much action could also be the reason for the lower opening.

The opening is Nizam / Andhra will be a shocker as though the numbers will all good these type of star driven films are supposed to open much better as the market is so frontloaded. The pricing issue would have hampered the film but not to this extent as opening is well short of what is expected from a Prabhas starrer. The overall number in all versions will be fine for day one but that's not good enough for a big budget film.
