Sitaare Zameen Par is looking a superb hold on Tuesday as collections look set to be similar to Monday at around 8.50 crore nett and they could even edge up a little. There was always a chance of this as Monday was so strong and it this hold has come without the the cheap Tuesday meaning extra admits dont get consumed and Wednesday can follow a normal trend rather than the fall which is seen by films which go for the cheap Tuesday when early in their run.

The film will be standing at around 74 crore nett after five days and it will be closing the week close to 90 crore nett and may even hit 90 crore nett if the next two days really hold. Despite the 10 crore start the film can get first week figures which are more than films like Raid 2 and Sikandar. Sikandar is no competition as it did hardly anything post the first week. Only Chhaava and Housefull 5 will have bigger weeks but the latter came down heavily and Sitaare Zameen Par should easily beat that film.

Basically Chhaava and Raid 2 are the two HIT films of the year and now Sitaare Zameen Par will be third but 3 HIT films in 6 months is a very poor return but hopefully the second half of the year sees a better return and it should as the there is a better flow and the content also looks better though obviously on paper only and you can never be sure of the public verdict.
