Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning has opened very well with excellent collections in the South circuits. The opening will be the highest of franchise but that was a given and more so with a Saturday release but it also means a two day weekend and no matter how strong a film its a normal Monday so that three day total will be hurt.

The last Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning released in 2023 opened around 12 crore nett on a Wednesday and did business of around 64 crore nett in its first five days ending up with around 105 crore nett in its total run. The film basically has to cross this number and it will be a pretty good result. The likes of Mumbai and Delhi / UP will have to give better contributions from Monday if it is go over the 100 crore nett mark.

Final Destination Bloodlines has pretty good collections as it collected 4.25 crore nett on day one which was the fourth highest opening day collection for a Hollywood horror film in India. This includes some paid previews but taking them out it is still fourth best horror opening after The Nun, Conjuring 2 and Annabelle - Creation. The film collected 5 crore nett on Friday despite losing screens for a two day collection of 9.25 crore nett.
