Munjya has scored very well on day one as collections looks set to be around 3.75-4 crore nett. The film has seen a good push in collections through the day which is a good sign. It is being aided by cheap rates but even if we take a crore or 1.5 cr out it is still a good collections.

The huge plus are the collections in places like Rajasthan and CI where ratios are better than films like Srikanth and Mrs and Mrs mahi which means that this film could actually work at a level in these markets as there is some interest on the first day itself and these are places where stars are needed and if not branding and this film has neither.

There may not be the normal huge growth on Saturday due to the lower rates on Friday but i should go up well enough and that should be enough for the film. Sunday will be interesting as the film has seen interest in the Hindi circuits and if they perform on Sunday we could be looking at a sleeper HIT.  A much needed one also.  

The genre seems to have worked again and although the horror level maybe at a lower level for the mass audience it looks like the family and kids are taking to the film.
