Shaitaan has seen the 11th best advance at the national chains (PvrInox and Cinepolis) in 23/24. It is third best of 2024 but the year is only two months old and Article 370 can be discounted as the high advance in terms of tickets sold came due to the cheap rates fr Cinema Lovers day.

Allowing for that it is second best to Fighter but the huge plus is that outside these national chains teh advance at certain other chains are as good as Fighter or pretty close in terms of tickets sold. Its a good result for the zone of the film as its not an opening film but it will put up a solid first day number.

The advances at these national chains are in the range of films like Rocky Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Salaar (Hindi), Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar and Oh My God 2 and all these films managed to up good to decent numbers and Shaitaan looks a stronger story than all these films. It has the advantage of Mahashivratri which is a partial holiday which should push the collections in certain circuits but growth in these places may be limited on Saturday. The target will be to get above Figher in circuits where the holiday is strong an the film will be on its way.
