Fighter got the benefit of Valentines Day on its third Wednesday as it collected over 1.50 crore nett which now takes the total of the film to almost 187 crore nett. It will be a decent third week and it will be higher than the third week of Dunki but overall collections are still 14 crore nett less than that film and that will be hard to cover.

No doubt the film will be showing higher collections than Dunki from here on but there will not be much coming as post Valentines Day it will be back down to under 1 crore nett. But its still important to hold over the next two weeks as then it may reach the average status. The problem for Figher or Dunki for that matter is the expectations are blockbuster collections and they end up average / below average and its all down to not reaching the wider audience.

Fighter will beat the box office numbers of Dunki in Mumbai and South with the latter happenning as Dunki clashed with south film Salaar. Traditionally its the opposite as when an action and a social drama have similar collections the social drama will be leading in Mumbai and South. The box office collections of Fighter till date are as follows.

Week One - 1,35,48,00,000
