Satyaprem Ki Katha saw a drop in its second day which was always going to happen but the drop was pretty reasonable which just took it down to the what the collections would have been on day one if it was not a holiday for Eid and not lower which can easily happen.. 

The second day collected 6.25 crore nett and that is the range day one would have been if it was not Eid. The two day numbers of the film are 14.75 crore nett which is so so business but now on Saturday it has a chance to break out to better numbers. The film must go at least to its first day number and ideally it should be higher for a weekend trend. The numbers will still be on the lower side but if the film can really jump well it will have a trend and then there is time on its side with not many Hindi releasing in the near future.

Gujarat / Saurashtra which is crucial for the film was pretty much like the rest of the country on day  two and did not trend better and this market is crucial due to the heavy Gujrati flavour in the film. But despite the local flavour the film has a theme like rape which maybe is not for a conservative audience like in Gujarat. The first two day collections of the film are as follows
