The Kerala Story has recorded the third highest collections in week one behind Pathaan and Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Take out Eid and the collections would be better than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan over the first week. It also comfortably beats Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar by around 10% in week one.

Its pretty much a dull story outside Pathaan though there have not been many releases. Basically films like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Bholaa and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar should have recorded better collelctions especially over the first week.

The Kerala Story will now be looking to challenge the collections of Pathaan from the second week onward. the highest second week post pandemic remains The Kashmir Files and its is third highest ever while Pathaan in the sixth highest ever.
