Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar remains the leader at the box office though the collections have seen a drop from Thursday. There is no much competition in terms of a major release but many films have released at the box office which is the reason for this drop.

There are two Hindi releases with Mrs Chaterjee Vs Norway and Zwigato and also a dubbed Hindi film Kabzaa. None of these films opened well but Mrs Chaterjee Vs Norway has some decent advances building up for the evening which may push the film to a respectable number for a film of this zone in todays time. The collections of the film are actually good in Kolkata due to Rani Mukherjee and the name of the film and there will be outperformance which can lead the film to a number towards the 1 crore nett mark.

Zwigato features Kapil Sharma who may possibly be the biggest star outside the cinema format but is famous in the comedy genre and this film looks something else alltogether. It is the comedy genre where a film with Kapil Sharma can have chances as proven by Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) and more so post the pandemic. This film Zwigato opened very poorly and forget the film even the name of the film is weird.

There was a dubbed film Kabzaa which also released with discounted ticket rates but it has been seen so many times that this does really help as its more about the film having interest rather than ticket rates that bring people to the theatres. The film can do better in Maharashtra but the opening there is also very low.

Shazam! Fury Of The Gods opened on Thursday post 4PM to huge showcasing could not really collect much. It may have got around 75 lakhs nett. The opening of the film is also not good but in terms of collections it will do better than the Hindi films due to a wider release.

The best perfomer was actually Japanese film Demon Slayer;: To The Swordsmith. These Demon series Anime films from Japan have a following so tend to rack up very good collections initially though do not sustain too well as the film just for the fans of the brand.
