Brahmastra will be the first film to cross the 30 crore nett mark in Nizam / Andhra as it comfortably beats the record of Dangal in the circuit thanks to the Telugu version. It will not beat Dangal in Hindi which remains the top film in Hindi with over 21 crore nett. The highest total in Telugu before Brahmastra was Dhoom 3 which did around 8 crore nett.

There is a bigger target for Brahmastra in the circuit if it can beat the 35 crore nett of Avengers Endgame. This is the highest total ever for a non South film in Nizam / Andhra and Brahmastra has an outside chance of getting there as the Hindi version will continue to collect for some weeks yet. Obviously Avatar is coming year end and it will be expected to go a level higher for non South content.

The film should at least get to 34 crore nett and the target is to get 50 crore nett in this circuit which films like Jawan and next part of Brahmastra have potential to do. This 50 crore nett mark looked pretty impossible but Brahmastra has opened some doors. Big Telugu films like Pushpa and Vakeel Saab do 125 crore and 105 cr respectively while a medium potboiler like Krack does nearly 50 crore nett.

There have been only four films that have crossed 150 crore nett in Nizam / Andhra and all four were local Telugu films so for a Hindi film to be getting 50 crore nett out if that market is a huge result and only time will tell if it can happen. The top grossers in Nizam / Andhra on all formats are as follows.

1. Brahmastra - 29.75 crore (10 days)

2. Dangal - 26.4 crore

3. War - 26 crore

4. Dhoom 3 - 25.30 crore

5. Padmaavat - 21.50 crore

Note - The numbers of all Hindi and Hollywood films above do include Marathawada while the South films (except Pushpa) do not. This is basically because a few centres of Maharashtra fall in the Nizam / Andhra circuit for Hindi and Hollywood films while for South films these fall in Mumbai circuit.
