Tenet did good business at the box office considering the pandemic scenario and the fact that the India release is more than 3 months after the initial release in North America and Europe. The film collected around 4.25 crore nett over its first weekend.

The film did go up on each day over the weekend but not like a film for the big metros would in normal times but this may be due to the pandemic as all days saw business mainly done in advance while there was a limited tickets being sold in current.

The best business for the film came in Mumbai and Bangalore which is as expected and it remains to be seen how the film performs post the weekend. Tenet is the best performer so far since cinemas opened in October and if it could get above that 10 crore nett mark it would be a good result.  The collections of Tenet over the first weekend are as follows.
