Baaghi 3 managed to get the top advance of the year but it was not at the level it should be as tickets did not sell on the last day of advance as they should have. The advance should have got up to the 8 crore nett mark but multiplexes sales were very slow on Thursday. 

This could be due to the Corona Virus outbreak as the government made a decision to shut all schools in Delhi and this decision came on Thursday the awareness of this virus would have multiplied across the country. The trajectory of sales on Thursday was not correct which means there is a good chance that some external factor is at play. The advance is 30-35% less than what it should be.

The advance at the big city multiplexes is less than Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior. In Mumbai it can be expected due to the regional flavour of Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior but even in Delhi it is less which should not be happenning. The advance is better than Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior  as the centres get smaller and this could be as the bigger cities have more awareness of the virus and the public keeps away from crowded places while the awareness is less as the cities get smaller. The top five advances of the year are as follows.

1. Baaghi 3 - 5,50,00,000

2. Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior - 5,18,00,000

3. Love Aaj Kal - 3,54,00,000

4. Street Dancer - 3,39,00,000

5. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan - 3,16,00,000
