The new Hindi releases fared poorly over the weekend as they opened to dull collections and there was not much growth over the weekend. the Hollywood film Maleficent - Mistress Of Evil also did not do well but far better than the hindi films. This film at least managed to show an upturn over the weekend.

Lal Kaptaan was the biggest release out of the Hindi films and it was a total disaster with insanely low occupancy all over. Ghost is also very poor though it managed the best growth out of the Hindi films but that is not saying much as others hardly showed growth. 

P Se Pyaar F Se Farraar  was the only other film to register some collections but it seems bulk buys over the weekend as nearly all the collection seem to be coming from one multiplex chain while all other cinemas perform at far lower levels.
