Dream Girl confirmed its status of a HIT film as it held very well on Monday with collections looking to be in the 6.50-7 crore nett range. The evenings should be better and it could up towards the top end of the range. The film is looking at a 30% drop from Friday which is very good especially as the Friday number was good.

The film will clock up a healthy 50 crore nett plus in four days with North India leading the way. The hold is not as strong as Chhichhore last week but Monday evening shows got the benefit of the holiday on Tuesday for Chhichhore which will not the case here. The fair value number for both films on Monday is roughly the same.

Dream Girl may also emerge a back to back to SUPER HIT film for the industry but it will depend on that second Friday hold. If the film does have manage to hold well on the second Friday then it will be an interesting race between Dream Girl and Chhichhore as to which film will come out with the higher numbers.
