Ae Dil Hai Mushkil put a good worldwide number up on the board due to strong business in overseas markets. The GROSS business in India is 46.50 crore and in overseas it is 41.50 crore. The gap is smaller than normal due to the pre Diwali affect in India. The NETT to GROSS ratio is also lower than normal as it has a higher than normal ratio from Nizam / Andhra, Mysore and West Bengal all of which have taxes lower than the national average. Despite it being pre Diwali it is still the sixth highest worldwide number of 2016 beating Airlift and very similar to Rustom. Sultan and Fan head the charts with M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story being the other 100 crore plus film. The top worldwide grossers for the opening weekend in 2016 are as follows.

5. Rustom - 90.32 crore

6. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil - 88 crore apprx

Ae Dil Jai Mushkil has the potential to go 200 crore worldwide though obviously the Wednesday number in India will tell. In Overseas the film is a HIT.
