Bhooth Bangla held up very well in its third week as it collected 11 crore nett showing a drop of 47% from the previous week which is pretty similar to its hold last week. The total collections of the film stand at 148.37 crore nett and it will easily cross the 150 crore nett mark now. This looked tough when the film released but it has sustained very well.

The flow of releases is starting now but Bhoot Bangla can still add 7-8 crore nett from here on and finish at 155 crore nett which means a solid HIT.  The film has scored best in Mumbai with business of 45 crore nett but Delhi / UP has sustained vey well to reach 35 crore nett till date.

The success of a film is a good sign for the film industry as its what you would call a regular bread and butter film doing well and it does not have the trappings of a huge budget or scale and is not a franchise. Now it will be about a few other films going the Bhooth Bangla way over the next two months or so which may lead to an upturn in more films being made which is the need of the hour for cinema halls as lack of content brings down admits. The collections of Bhooth Bangla till date are as follows.
