The Raja Saab (Hindi) crashed out on Monday as it collected just 1 crore nett which is a huge fall from the first day of over 80%. The collections were fiddled on the first day so even if we take the real drop it is still over 70%. This sort of huge drop is rarely seen. The film has just 13.75 crore nett up on the board so far and its likely the film will not even end up doing 20 crore nett even though there is not much competition this week.

The results are also similar down down South as the all India collections were also down to around 5.5 crore nett on Monday whih means 105-106 crore nett across India in all versions over four days plus paid previews. The trend is awful here also though its got some collections in over the weekend unlike the Hindi version.

The pan india thing which is a facade is hitting the Telugu industry hard as the attempts to make bigger films that try to crossover into means Hindi heartland means less content for the local market which is heavily struggling. The business in Hindi is a different kettle of fish altogether and all calculations can go wrong like they have with this film. A regular looking telugu film will not crossover and this film maybe Telugu looking but the costs are such that you need the Hindi market on side. The collections of The Raja Saab (Hindi) are as follows.

Friday - 5,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 3,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 3,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 1,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 13,75,00,000 apprx
