Jolly LLB 3 continued its average run on day eight picking up collections in the 3.50-3.65 crore nett which takes the film upto 75 crore nett in eight days. The drop is normal for day eight but with no major releases on Friday there was a chance of no drop ir even go higher but the appreciattion is not there for teh film to able to dao that.

The film is not really going anywhere but it is important that there is a big jump on Saturday if the film is to reach the 100 crore nett mark. The potential should be there to double up which should at least more or less ensure a 100 crore nett finish at the very least. The film is going to beat the numbers of Kesari 2 but that film did not open while this film started well and was an actual franchise while Kesari was a franchise in name only. The appreciation of Kesari 2 was more than Jolly LLB 3.

The new release this week was Homebound which maybe got some media awareness as its going to oscars or something and this had helped a film called Newton a few years back but those times were different when media and critical hype could help to an extent. Eventually collections came down pretty quick for this so called content film. The collections of Homebound will be in 30-35 lakh range. The talent in the film is probably not the sort known or good enough in terms of acting to get that gentry public out.  

There was another Japanese anime film Chainsaw but this time there was not box office collections. the first day looks similar to the third Friday of Demon Slayer which will probably be around 40 lakhs but thats still better than the new Hindi release Homebound.
