Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again both hit the 100 crore nett mark over the weekend giving a cumulative total of 211.25 crore nett in three days. Singham Again is the eleventh highest weekend of all time while Bhool Bhulayaa is at number nineteen. The two additions make it 19 Hindi films which have reached 100 crore nett in three days and two are dubbed South films.
Singham Again records the highest number for the cast except Deepika Padukone who featured in the two Shahrukh Khan fims Jawan and Pathan released last year and those had higher numbers. It is same for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is by far the biggest weekend for Kartik Aryan. In both cases the franchise value has helped though there can be a caveat for Singham Again as what is a bigger brand Bajirao Singham or Cop Universe and most will say Cop Universe as these universes are the flavour of the season at the present time but it may well not actually be the case.
Jawan is the biggest weekend ever and the only film to reach 175 crore nett while the others to have crossed 150 crore nett are animal and Pathaan and this 150 crore nett level is the one which the 300 crore plus budget films have to really hit but it was never really on for Singham Again due to the clash. The top twenty opening weekends of all time are as follows. (Hindi language only)
