Stree 2 is heading for a huge Monday which will cross the Friday numbers and could go to at least 35 crore nett mark as the Hindi mass markets drive the business due to Raksha Bandhan. The mass circuits should generally be topping their respective Friday numbers. The film should be around the 230 crore nett mark in five days and the target looks to be the highest Hindi grosser this year in the first week alone.

The film is being driven by Gujarat / Saurashtra belt on Monday as Raksha Bandhan day is huge for collections in the state. Here the film will not only beat the Friday number but it could even get close the first day business which was Independence Day and if not should be at least as good as Saturday. Basically after the business on Monday the film will be the top grossing film in Gujarat for the year. 

It also looks the film will beat the likes of Pathaan, Jawan and Animal in Gujarat and this despite the circuit struggling for collections this year. Normally Rajasthan / CI and Gujarat go hand in hand but while Kalki 2898 AD opened well in CI and Rajasthan it was not the same in Gujarat. The high service tax tends to get blamed for the circuit not doing well but that was there before the pandemic as well.

The first Monday of Stree 2 will be among the top five all time and remains to be seen which position it falls in a better push in mass than expceted could land it in the top 3.
