Cirkus advance opened on Saturday and it has failed to gather much momentum since then as the film is looking at an advance of around 4.50 crore nett but this is being primarily driven by the holiday weekend sales while Friday is very low. The results for day one are competing with films like Raksha Bandhan and Bhediya with one day to go.

The scary part is that advance is way less than Avatar - The Way Of Water on Friday and that film collected only 8 crore nett in Hindi circuits on Wednesday and its likely that Friday will be lower or maybe at best maybe 8 crore nett again. So surely current bookings must see a better response as if the film collects below Avatar - The Way Of Water in hindi circuits it is going to be a horrible end to the year. If its lower than Avatar - The Way Of Water at an all India level that is fine but the Hindi circuits must do better.

The films of Rohit Shetty always get a lower response in North so its no big deal that advances are lower here as his films generally pick up but the shocker is Maharashtra / Gujarat where his films rack up huge numbers. Evan Ranveer Singh has more face value in these parts then the rest of the country but till date advances are dull in Maharashtra and Gujarat. These areas must score for the film to have any chance of succeeding.

The film will move better on the day or better way to put it is that it HAS to move better on the day because if not then then the shockwaves to revebrate around the industry with this film will surpass all. It will actually be Current Laga across the film industry and a sad sorry ending to a bad year.
