Drishyam 2 is heading for an excellent second week as its second Monday remained above 5 crore nett with collections of 5.25 crore nett. The film has collected 146 crore nett in eleven days and is still going strong all over the country.

The film is now trending better than all the original Hindi releases post pandemic except for The Kashmir Files. The second week is heading for a 57-58 crore nett total which is easily better than Sooryavanshi and Brahmastra. 

Drishyam 2 is also showing when the audience accepts a film today it does more business than it would have done pre pandemic but the case is the opposite when a film is rejected where busienss is far less than pre pandemic times. This could be that a larger chunk of the audience only comes out when they feel its worth a trip to the cinemas or could be that there is not much competition out there at the moment so this allows aliked film to run for far longer with more showcasing.
