Vikram Vedha is seeing reasonable advances but they are not pushing like they should be as after the first 24 hours the sales were above Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by around 5% but by Wednesday morning they are 15% less. This is in terms of collections and not tickets sold as that is much less than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 but as Vikram Vedha has higher pricing the collections are not that far off.

The advance of the film is now probably looking to be 5-6 crore nett while it had a shot of 7-8 crore nett on Sunday night. There is still Thurday to come when advances could pick up pace and take it above 6 crore. Despite being an action film the advances are lower in mass belts and driven by places like Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

These places are basically better as Hrithik Roshan has a stronger standing as a star in these cities like in Kolkata he is second only to Shahrakh Khan while in a Bangalore he is probably next to Aamir Khan along with Shahrukh Khan. Irrespective what happens to the advance on Thursday it is not going to be good enough to suggest a higher first day number than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 but mass support on the day can easily take it there. But that will depend on how the public takes to the film.
