Brahmastra recorded the eight highest worldwide total for the first weekend for the Hindi version. The film collected a huge 189 crore nett in Hindi. This was second best total post the pandemic after KGF 2 which did 198 crore.

Most of the films in the top ten are holiday releases with Bahubali - The Conclusion, Sanju and Brahmastra being the only non holiday releases in the top ten. Sultan released in 2016 still leads the worldwide charts and that is six years after release. There are three 200 crore films with Sultan, Bhaubali - The Conclusion and Sanju and Brahmastra could probably have joined the list with a holiday.
