KGF 2 has smashed all records at the box office as it collects around 52.50 crore nett beating the previous record of War of around 50.75 crore nett. Although this gap is not huge it is mainly because KGF2 did not release in the South and fair value of this film is around 57-58 crore nett and that can only be seen when the final circuit figures come.

The circuit records have gone all over with more or less every circuit doing record business. Its easier to talk about the palces where they will not go and those are likely to be Assam and the state of UP and here it is probably because of less cinemas than before and also maybe Ramazan. The overall circuit of Delhi / UP is flirting with a record and it will depend where the final figure will land.

The collections are simply extraordinary in every city across India and some places records have gone by insane margins. The film does not have a star but this is what brand value can do for a film when that film is in the right zone meaning a mass action type of film. The film has broken many barriers and also crossed 30 lakh footfalls which only a few films have managed in history.

The advances for the weekend are also very strong and although its too early to say a near 175 crore nett four day weekend cant be ruled out while 160 crore nett is a given. The Overseas business for the Hindi version is also very good and maybe will hit $1.25 million with US / Canada crossing $300k on a working day in the Hindi version only. The Easter weekend is there which will ensure the film proves a HUGE HIT in Overseas also
