Spiderman No Way Home has hit it out the park with first day collections in the 35 crore nett range and there is a good chance that this figure could go higher as the final collections in the South come out in the morning can be higher than the estimates now. The collections are extraordinarily high in places like Bangalore and Hyderabad with some cinemas recording numbers as good as Avengers Endgame.

The business from Hindi circuits is phenomenal as well with East Punjab and West Bengal crossing the numbers of Sooryavanshi and Delhi / UP could be added to the list in the morning and maybe a couple of other circuits as well. The film has also beaten Sooryavanshi in Mumbai city and Pune by a healthy margin but the circuit will probably be less as Gujarat / Saurashtra is much lower.

The performance of the film gives some respite to the exhibition sector which has struggled post Sooryavanshi but does not make much difference to the film industry as for that tooget the feel good factor back we need the likes of 83 and Jersey to do well.

The film is probably the biggest opening post the pandemic in India as before this film it was the Telugu film Vakeel Saab with 35 crore nett plus but there is a huge difference between Spiderman - No Way Home and that film as this film will collect at high levels for many more days while Telugu films are about the first day.
