Chal Mera Putt 3 has scored well at the box office as it records a 4.75 crore nett first weekend which is 1 crore nett more than Chal Mera Putt 2 released a few weeks back. The problem is the reports are nowhere close to the last film as the comedy is far weaker in Chal Mera Putt 3.

The film will still do well enough due to this very good initial but it is unlikely to match Chal Mera Putt 2 in the final run. The collections in East Punjab on Sunday remained below Qismat 2 despite Sunday being the fourth day for Qisamt 2 as it was a Thursday release. There was a boost on Saturday due to the national holiday especially in Delhi as collections doubled up there. 

The collections overseas were excellent as well but overall the film has done well but its not likely to take the franchise another level higher. The collections of Chal Mera Putt 2 over the first weekend are as follows.

Friday - 1,32,00,000

Saturday - 1,68,00,000

Sunday - 1,73,00,000

TOTAL - 4,73,00,000
