Chal Mera Putt 2 has become the biggest Punjabi grosser ever as it crosses the $3.63 million of Chal Mera Putt. The film was expected to be the top Punjabi film but that was in March 2020 when conditions were more normal as its predecessor was hugely successful and biggest film overseas prior to Chal Mera Putt 2.

Now this film has done it post the pandemic with limited collections in Australia and New Zealand. Whatever it did in these markets was before the pandemic. The film is easliy going past the $4 million mark and maybe even $4.50 million. It means the potential of a blockbuster Punjabi film is $5 million plus in Overseas as this would have got there if conditions were normal. In Canada it will cross the $2 million mark which has only been done by 3 Idiots, PK and Dangal easily making it the biggest Punjabi film.

In UK it stands in second place as it beats all other films in just ten days though it might not make it to number one as Chaar Sahibzaade was a phenomena in UK in 2014. The worldwide business of the film will be around 50 crore making it the third Punjabi film to hit 50 crore worldwide. The top Punjabi films of all time in Overseas are as follows.
